The vehicle in detail

Currently finished in period correct Ivory with a black hood and black interior. The bonnet catch and engine lid have chassis-matching stamps, plus it has the correct Roadster doors and original detail fixtures and fittings. Originally leaving the factory in Heron grey. The original engine (Type 616/1 1600cc) has, at some point, been replaced with a similar Type 616/1 1,600cc.

Brought from America to the Channel Islands by a German car collector in early 1990’s. It was purchased by our client who recently commissioned 356 expert Steve Winter to carry out various improvements totalling over £21,000. This included an engine service, new clutch, rebuilt braking system and wheel bearings, new battery and electrical works, 5 new tyres and much more. We have made some further maintenance works prior to offering for sale.

This 356 is being offered via our consignment/brokerage service. If sold here in the UK, it may attract 5% VAT on top of the asking price. If leaving the UK (for export) there is no UK VAT to pay. We can help with paperwork or registration, whether for a UK buyer or for export.
