Based on its largely original bodywork, the car underwent a detailed overhaul. The technical overhaul was carried out by the renowned specialist Karl Hloch, who completely overhauled the engine. The vehicle is extensively documented, with numerous invoices and receipts as well as the Porsche Kardex available.

According to the available documents, this vehicle, which was bodyworked by the Reutter company, was delivered to its first owner, a coffee roaster manufacturer from near Turin, on March 9, 1963 via the Porsche Autogerma branch in Bologna, Italy. The current ruby red paintwork corresponds to the delivery. Over the years, the engine has been replaced with an engine of the same type.
