Please note that the car may be in external storage, so please call before an inspection. This Porsche 356C Carrera 2 Coupé, chassis no. 124097, was completed at the Stuttgart factory on April 11, 1963 and delivered new through AutoHaus-Gramling in Karlsruhe, Germany. The car is in the original color combination Signal Red with a light leather interior and carpets in Tan German Square Weave. The car is a sought-after model with matching numbers on the engine. The Carrera 2 model is among the most sought-after 356s, as it represents the culmination of Porsche racing technology in a street car. The advanced 2.0 liter Type 587/1 four-cam engine with 130 hp was the most powerful engine in a production Porsche at the time and delivered impressive performance: 0–100 km/h in about 9 seconds and a top speed of around 210 km/h. Together with Porsche’s new ATE disc brakes and improved suspension, this resulted in a car with excellent driving characteristics.
