The current color, called "Signal Red", fits the 356C extremely well, as it is a very expressive paint color and it makes you particularly noticeable. The paintwork is obviously very successful, only a few signs of wear and tear that have occurred over the years are visible, a small drawback is a dent on the passenger side of the roof. The external details include bumpers painted in the vehicle color with bright accents and so-called over-riders as well as teardrop lights. It should also be emphasized that the color nameplate was also replaced when it was repainted. Apparently there are no signs of accidental damage.
The 356 is on 185 Pirelli Cinturato P3 tires in good condition, the rims are the original Porsche rims, which are chrome-plated. In terms of the chassis, everything looks in its original condition and there is nothing to complain about when it comes to the brakes.
The interior presents itself with a light brown synthetic leather seat upholstery as well as a steel dashboard that is color-coordinated with the exterior paint, door panels and carpets are also kept in light brown. The 356C was originally delivered with black synthetic leather upholstery. The state of preservation of the interior can be described as extremely good, there is nothing to complain about here. All controls work perfectly, as equipment of this 356 has a black three-spoke steering wheel, a retractable radio antenna, an AM / FM radio and an exterior mirror on the driver's side.
The dashboard includes a combo gauge for oil temperature and fuel level, a tachometer, a 120-mile speedometer with a reading of 92,000 miles and a clock. The odometer has five digits, according to the owner it is assumed that it is still the original speedometer. All instruments do their job without any problems.
The power comes from an air-cooled 1.6 liter boxer engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The engine compartment looks neat for the mileage, many original stickers can be seen, the boxer runs flawlessly. The owner refers to an existing Kardex copy on which the stamping of the engine block with the number 716 892 and that of the gearbox (85137) match.
