1963 Porsche 356B Carrera 2
The Porsche 356 is Porsche’s first production model. In the 1960 model year, the 356 A was replaced by the completely revised 356 B (T5). All 356 generations were also available in an open-top version (Cabriolet, Speedster or Roadster).
From the 365 A model onwards, particularly sporty variants were given the additional designation ‘Carrera’ and were powered by a so-called ‘Fuhrmann engine’. The Carrera 2 is the top model in the 356 series with an output of 130 hp.
Based on its almost untouched original bodywork, the car was reworked in detail. The technical overhaul was carried out by the renowned specialist Karl Hloch, who completely overhauled the engine. The vehicle is extensively documented, with numerous invoices and receipts as well as the Porsche Kardex available.
