GTS
GTS features include dark taillights, dual black exhaust, GTS logo on the sides and doors, and standard 20-inch black wheels. Together with the front bumper in sport design, this version stands out visually. The interior features Alcantara on the seats, door panels, dashboard and steering wheel. In addition, the watch in the standard Sport Chrono package is finished in black.
The GTS has also been further upgraded technically with fine options such as Torque Vectoring (PTV), a mechanical limited-slip differential and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) with a 20 mm lowering. In short: a package for sporty connoisseurs that takes the already sporty Boxster to a new level.
Technology and performance
All discussions about replacing the 6-cylinder with a smaller 4-cylinder boxer engine have now fallen silent. Apart from the fact that the brand's history began with a 4-cylinder boxer engine in the 356, the latest generation of 4-cylinders has now proven itself. The name “718 Boxster” is a legitimate nod to a four-cylinder racing model that shone in the 1960s, the mid-engine Porsche 718 RKS in front of the rear a s.
The 2.5 liter engine came onto the market with a technical innovation by giving the turbocharger a variable geometry. In the GTS, this engine produces 365 hp and a huge torque of 430 Nm. In conjunction with the mid-engine concept, this results in spectacular performance: the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 4.1 seconds and the top speed is 290 km/h. This is what the official Porsche information says, which is known to be very conservative. The power of the engine combined with exceptionally good suspension and steering of the 911 turbo S make it a pure driver's car. All in all, it is the absolute benchmark in its price range in terms of driving behavior and performance.
Origin and maintenance
The car was originally delivered by Porsche Stuttgart and came to the Netherlands in 2020. The car has had all required maintenance at the kilometers listed below. As of 2020, the car was serviced at Porsche Twente. The work carried out is listed in the complete service booklet. The car is equipped with new Michelin Pilot Sport tires all around.
