Technology & Performance. The 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 features a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated six-cylinder boxer engine with an output of 400 pk. Combined with the 7-speed PDK transmission, maximum torque is 430 Nm. With PDK, Sport Chrono, and Launch Control, the Boxster GTS 4.0 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds. It reaches 200 km/h in 13.7 seconds, and its top speed is 288 km/h.
The character of this GTS is primarily defined by the combination of the naturally aspirated six-cylinder engine, mid-engine layout, and rear-wheel drive. The standard PASM sport suspension, lowered by 20 mm, Porsche Torque Vectoring with a mechanical limited-slip differential, dynamic engine mounts, and the sport exhaust system make the GTS 4.0 significantly sportier than the standard Boxster models, without sacrificing everyday practicality.
