The vehicle was delivered to the Hahn company in Stuttgart on March 9th, 1966. After 10 years in the 1st hand of a pharmaceutical company in Stuttgart, the vehicle changed hands 4 times within 3 years, until it was finally shut down in 1979 and then disappeared in a barn for 37 years. Fortunately, almost all parts have stayed with the car despite the long storage period. I bought the vehicle in 2016 and had it completely restored. Sheet metal, paintwork and interior fittings were mostly renewed, what could be obtained was refurbished, checked and reused. For example, the wooden steering wheel and the dashboard inlays, or the engine grill are the originals, and have been lovingly restored.
The old parts have been kept and will be delivered with the vehicle. Of course, there is evidence of spare parts and the work performed by the restoration, as well as extensive photo documentation.
The technology, i.e. the engine and gearbox and the chassis parts, has also been laboriously restored to a new condition based on the original model. The engine is still equipped with its original, and of course restored, Solex carburetors. The vehicle has been registered again since 2019, has currently run 800km, and will be moved at around 1500km until the entry inspection.
The car stands on original Lemmerz 4.5 × 15 steel rims with chrome caps and 165/15 tires.
The original cardboard letter is available and all data are analogous to the birth certificate with matching numbers,
The engine is a 901/05 type, the 902/01 5-speed gearbox.
The golf blue 911 has a current 2021 Classic Data report, an H report and. fresh TÜV and AU.
