The codes at delivery: 650 sunroof, 491 WTL factory turbo look!! 473 with spoilers, 454 cruise control, 409 sport seats left and right, 158 Monterey radio, C02 delivery to the USA, color code L027 Guards / Indian Red
According to the previous owner, the engine and transmission have matching numbers as at delivery.
The vehicle was delivered to the first owner in February 1984 at the VW–Porsche dealership in Winston, North Carolina, and was regularly serviced and stamped at Porsche service centers there until it was exported to Germany.
There is a wealth of documentation dating back to the initial delivery, including the Porsche dealer’s new car invoice and customer information documents from 1984 at the time of delivery!!
Since its import, it has been in the best of hands for the previous owner, starting in 2010 at Oettinger Autotechnik Hamburg, MEZGER Höing Hamburg (transmission completely overhauled in 2014 with a new limited-slip differential), and Armin Leppek Hamburg. Thus, there is a consistently maintained and stamped service record book in its original form and a well-documented service history, which is virtually unique. There are also very detailed service records, etc., from the time the car was in the USA.
While with the last owner in North Rhine-Westphalia, the vehicle was in the care of the renowned firm Automobiltechnik Küke, Essen. An appraisal from 2016 certifies a value of €130,000 (Grade 2+) after conversion; today, such a vehicle as a base should already be valued at €100,000 to €120,000, and a conversion would cost at least €40,000 to €50,000, meaning it would by no means be possible to produce one yourself for less than €160,000.
A RETRO Sound radio was also installed, along with Fuchs rims in sizes 8 and 9 x 16 (Keller), KW dampers and Ideal seats for a total of 8k, as well as a perfectly tuned, great-sounding exhaust system that also matches the vehicle’s visual configuration 100%. A power measurement of over 245 hp is available.
The conversion was carried out to the highest standards, and the original paint color has been retained.
All 3 original keys, along with the key card, owner’s manual, and service booklet, are included.
This presents an opportunity to acquire a former WTL Carrera 3.2 with an impeccable history, H license plate, and excellent maintenance records—don’t miss out; it’s a unique opportunity.
