Provenance & History
Delivered new in France on 25/02/1974, this 911 Carrera 2.7 MFI is a rare and highly collectible European model. We acquired the vehicle in the early 2010s, having discovered it tucked away in a barn in France. Soon after, it underwent an extensive, partial restoration — with a focus on mechanical integrity and sympathetic preservation of its original character.
Interior & Originality
The car retains its blue-black interior, showcasing the authentic patina of a well-preserved classic. The dashboard bears the signs of age with visible cracking, and the original roof lining — now over 50 years old — remains untouched. These elements were consciously preserved as part of our philosophy to retain the car’s soul and authenticity.
The sport seats, however, have been carefully restored and now present in excellent condition, offering both comfort and period-correct aesthetics.
Exterior Enhancements
The car has the ducktail spoiler (option M473), gold Fuchs wheels (M493), and matching gold Carrera side script (code M427). These period-correct additions result in a tasteful overall configuration.
Condition & Driving Experience
Since the restoration, the car has been carefully maintained and regularly driven. Mechanically and cosmetically, it remains in excellent condition. The 2.7 MFI engine delivers a visceral, engaging driving experience that truly captures what makes these early Carreras so special.
This is not just a car — it’s a piece of Porsche history, preserved and prepared for the next enthusiast to enjoy.
