Upon arrival at our workshop, the car underwent a thorough pre-purchase inspection. Additionally, the seats were restored, including new foam and replacement fabric in the original specification, while preserving the patina of the leather.
The upholstery features the rare and elegant pattern commonly referred to as “Hugo Boss,” with white vertical stripes on a dark background.
Overall, the car is in excellent condition. It feels well-sorted, performs beautifully on the road, and the 915 gearbox operates with proper precision. Even the air conditioning works significantly better than expected. Notably, this example sits between the two sub-generations of the 3.2 series, featuring the larger air vents of the later models while still retaining the earlier 915 gearbox.
It is well known that the 3.2 engine is perhaps the only 911 generation without a specific weak point. It is robust, requires no special maintenance, and, when functioning properly as in this case, is likely one of the most cost-effective 911s to own and enjoy.
OPTION LIST
In the air-cooled era, the options list was relatively simple, as these cars already came well-equipped for driving enjoyment, with minimal electronic features. Noteworthy is the air conditioning system, which performs exceptionally well.
