The 3.4 litre engine raises the power output from the previous 231bhp to a very healthy 247 bhp. The engine now produces 306 Nm of torque at just 5,200 rpm. The ex-factory turbo-look arches also accomodate the upgraded braking system. To restore this car today would surely cost over £200,000, and so this represents a genuine opportunity to own a Porsche Q car for a fraction of its build cost, and it has the added cachet of being restored and enhanced by the Porsche factory.
Supplied new by Otto Glockler Porsche, Frankfurt in January 1986, the Cabriolet was gifted as a wedding present to a very fortunate son-in-law, who kept the car and enjoyed it.
