Carrying out regular maintenance and improvements, including having the brake calipers rebuilt and replated, new brake discs, stainless steel heat exchangers fitted, rear main oil seal renewed, new fuel pump, new fuel tank, anti roll bar shot blast and powder coated, brake lines renewed, exhaust studs replaced, all engine tin wear including cooling plates shot blast and powder coated, drive shaft CV joints cleaned re greased and new boots fitted, steering rack stripped and inspected, front lower arms shot blast and powder coated plus much more.
The car has also benefited from a glass out repaint in its original colour, at this point two new genuine front wings were fitted as well as all new rubbers, new headlamps, bellows, rear overriders and a new front spoiler to finish the car off. The overall result is impressive and to ensure the car also handles as well as it looks it was set up by Centre of Gravity. The car has just been serviced and checked over thoroughly in preparation for sale. It was previously owned by Haymarket Publishing and featured in the “our cars” section of the magazine Classic and Sports Cars. Copies of the articles on file. Having inspected the car thoroughly we are pleased to confirm it is completely solid throughout with zero signs of any corrosion. The underside has been carefully wax protected to protect it further from the elements. The interior presents beautifully in virtually unmarked condition. The car drives superbly, with the G50 gearbox a pleasure to use. The clutch is smooth, brakes are great and the car still feels very tight and precise on the road. The original 16inch Fuchs wheels are in good condition and are shod in matching Continental Sport Contact tyres all round. The car starts on the button, engine pulls very well, it is not dropping any oil and does not smoke at all. The original service book and drivers manual are present along with 2 keys and even the original Blaupunkt Toronto stereo. The tool kit is complete along with the compressor and original space saver. Overall this is a fantastic, very usable example of an already much loved 911 which is still appreciating financially and is now ready to be enjoyed by a new owner.
