Appearing in 1963, the Porsche 911 had already become a legend when in 1983, Porsche launched the Carrera 3.2 developing 231 hp. The press is unanimous and speaks of a real resurrection of the model after the few disappointments with the previous SC deemed not powerful enough. For the 1988 model year, the manufacturer inaugurated a very limited series, the Carrera 3.2 Jubilee which interests us here.
Unlike the Clubsport, the Jubilee has managed to combine comfort and sportiness at a level close to perfection. Jubilee, the name is well chosen because the manufacturer is celebrating the 250,000th Porsche 911 produced, which coincides perfectly with the 25th anniversary of the model’s launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1963. An extremely rare series of 875 examples, it is available in three versions: Targa (165 ex), convertible (205 ex) and coupe (505 ex). 30 models were sold in France and they are easily distinguished by their Diamond Blue metal color, code L697, with the blue leather interior signed Ferry Porsche in the seats, code RZ.
