An accident-free, completely original German Porsche 911RS in the classic Grand Prix White/Black color combination.

The vehicle impresses with its unique flair and patina. My car is completely matching numbers, so in addition to the correct color combination, it still has all the factory-supplied parts (engine, transmission, assemblies, doors, and hood). The Porsche 911 RS has had five previous German owners and, of course, comes with the original German cardboard cover (registration document).

The vehicle in detail

What’s also special…the car has never been fully restored; the interior is untouched and has not been disassembled. The unwelded body is largely in its original paint. However, because the hood and both front fenders showed corrosion, I decided to have them stripped in an immersion bath. The paint was then reapplied. The car’s underbody is untouched/unwelded. The entire drivetrain (engine and transmission) was restored to near-new condition by Manfred Rugen, a specialist in classic Porsche racing engines worldwide. The engine also has a special feature: It features an aluminum crankcase (only 30 Porsche 911RS were ever delivered with this type of engine, as these cases were originally reserved for the 911 RSR race car).

During the technical overhaul, the oil cooling system and the chassis were also repaired. I have owned the car for about 14 years. I purchased it from a German Porsche dealer. If you’re looking for one of the few unmodified, “absolutely original” 911RS with an authentic patina and want to experience why this car is arguably the most exciting super sports car of the early 1970s, you should take a closer look at this “ducktail.” Recognized brand specialists are always welcome to inspect it.
