Porsche 911 E

The Sun is shining and so is this ’69 Bahama Gelb Porsche 911E.

I don’t think this iconic model needs much introduction but just to refresh your memory shortly how the brainchild of Ferdinand ‘Butzi’ Porsche came to be and until today this icon remains one of the most legendary sports cars ever made.

The Porsche 911E was allowed to live up to its name from 1969 to 1973 and came as a replacement for the 911L but offered more luxury than the 911S model, the ideal intermediate size which still came with an extremely powerful 2.0-liter injection engine and delivered 140PK, who would not want to take a ride in this?

The ‘E’ stands for the German ‘Einspritzung’ which refers to the well-known and reliable ‘MFI’ and which further enhanced the driving experience and the reliability. Because as we have known for longer than today, it is not only the beautiful line and style that makes the Porsche 911 so iconic, but the overall driving experience also contributes enormously to this.

We could say that every 911 drives the same but this 2.0Liter flat-six is very easy to use and smoothly brings out all the power at any speed. The handlebar feels very comfortable in your hand and takes you smoothly through every turn. The 911E version came with the ‘comfort package’ which included ventilated brake discs with aluminum calipers, velour carpet, a leather steering wheel, heavier bumpers, and chrome accents.

As such, our Porsche 911E is personally one of our favorites and a true ‘Rock ‘n Rolls choice’.

The car received a full Nuts& Bolts restoration to perfection, the stone-hard bodywork was professionally given its new coat. The interior, engine and all mechanics were completely renewed and perfected. An extensive restoration file with the necessary pictures and invoices that can verify this as well as a taxation report given by an expert are present with the car.

Take a seat in this 911 and you will not want to give up the steering wheel. The beautiful interior with its extremely comfortable seats is a real pleasure to spend a few hours in.

The engine starts by a turn of the key after which the engine is smoothly revved.

While driving, the powerful 2.0 petrol injection engine smoothly brings out all the power at any RPM, whether it is for a quiet touring drive or for something a bit sportier.

This 911 does not disappoint and to this day still makes most of the cars in your rearview mirror disappear.
