The vehicle in detail

Same owner for the past 8 years, always garaged in West Los Angeles, California. Well maintained and cared for. In March 2019, full service was done and $13,000 was spent with TRE Motorsports Inc. in Van Nuys, California including new clutch, new oil return tubes, valve adjustment, new master cylinder and brake lines, replace gearbox main shaft and shift shaft seals, install new shifter bushings, replace accelerator link, replace all fuel hoses, install new heat exchangers, replace exhaust studs, detail all engine sheet metal and hardware, and replace engine oil thermostat. The original steering wheel is being rewrapped in black leather that is included in the sale. A great opportunity to acquire a dialed-in 2.2L 911E is great condition!

History
The E was introduced in 1969 for 1970 with a new 2.2-liter engine, and intended to be a more usable option positioned between the 911T and 911S (Touring and Sport, respectively). Ventilated brake disks coupled with aluminum calipers and the first iteration of the longer wheelbase provide honest driving feedback, supporting the popular notion that the E boasts superior road holding to its sister T and S models. By replacing the Weber carbs with Bosch mechanical fuel injection (MFI) the 911 “Einspritzung”, German for injection, delivers 158 BHP and is most thoroughly enjoyed in the low range where the torque band is plentiful.
