Our Porsche 911E 2.4 ‘Oel Klappe’ was first registered on the 24th of August 1972, and was said to have been supplied to Dick Lovett Porsche on the 1st of July 1972.
After spending a number of years as a road car in it’s early life, this particular car was purchased by Bob Watson, of Bob Watson engineering. Under Bob’s ownership, the car was race prepared and competed across the UK and Europe, even setting a lap record at Zandvoort! The history file contains a number of fantastic photographs of the car competing in period. The car was later retired from the track and spent a number of years off of the road.
