It is the result of a unique Markenstein project that was realized with the highest standards of aesthetics, technology and philosophy. A Markenstein masterpiece. The character of a new car in a vehicle from 1972, modern technology for reliable touring and motorsport charm for an incomparable driving experience.
Every detail follows a clear principle: Ikigai - the Japanese concept of the meaning of doing. It is not the loudest, but the most coherent that convinces. Not the fastest, but the most sincere remains.
An original flat-six, upgraded to 3.0 liters, equipped with modern fuel injection, electronic accelerator pedal and intelligent engine control. For reliability at the cutting edge - and a driving experience that remains pure and immediate. Powder-coated accents replace shiny chrome - because black says more than silver. And the door lock? Sounds as it should when everything is in place.
Anyone who drives the Ikigai RS is not simply driving - they are experiencing what it means when technology is well thought out, design is conscious and emotions are tangible.
A vehicle for connoisseurs. A work of art for those who see what others overlook.
The restoration and optimization of the vehicle ultimately took around 1500 hours. The vehicle can be viewed immediately, so its use in spring and summer is assured.
