The only deviations from its factory appearance have been the fitment of silver racing stripes and silver ‘PORSCHE’ side script, as well as the original black wheels being repainted silver. These changes were carried out by the current owner. The stripes and side script are stickers and can easily be removed to return the car closer to its factory original appearance. Importantly, the car is accompanied by its Certificate of Conformity as well as its original owner’s manuals and service book.
To many, the 911 R represents Porsche at its very best. Combining the performance of the GT3 RS with the subtlety of a traditional 911, it is a car which celebrates Porsche’s rich heritage whilst also providing 21st century levels of performance. With a 4.0-litre flat six-cylinder engine producing 500 bhp mated to a six-speed manual transaxle, this is a true analog Porsche built in the digital era, and a car that can be enjoyed equally at speed as its manufacturers intended, or driven on a daily basis. Showing just 4,100 km from new, a well-specified 911 R is a cornerstone of any modern Porsche collection, and this example surely will not disappoint.
