Porsche 911 SC
Highlights
- History
- No US import
- Original condition
It is with some sadness that I have now decided to sell my beloved Porsche to good hands due to my advanced age.
It is a Porsche
911 SC Targa, 3.0 l, 188 hp, year of manufacture 1980, color white.
I can prove a complete history, i.e. the previous owners, as well as the present checkbook, in which all inspections are listed.
The Porsche currently has a mileage of 170000 km.
The car was purchased in 1980 by the first owner as a new car at the Porsche Center Löhr and Becker in Koblenz. It is therefore demonstrably not a US import.
I also bought the Porsche from Löhr und Becker in 1983. I have owned it ever since. Receipts from the first purchase and from my purchase are available.
The car is in excellent condition, still has the original paintwork and only minor damage from stone chips. The body was already hot-dip galvanized at the time and shows no rust.
The engine was overhauled in 2021 in a recognized specialist workshop for Porsche classic cars in Alicante at a mileage of 168000 km.
It was also renewed:
Fuel pump, pressure accumulator, fuel tank, warm-up regulator (was repaired).
Receipts are available.
The car has a front spoiler, a turbo spoiler at the rear, Fuchs rims and a wheel spacer as extra equipment. Everything is registered in the vehicle registration document.
Incidentally, this turbo spoiler was designed by Anatole Lapine. Lapine was head designer at Porsche from 1969 to 1988. It was he who redesigned the shape of the so-called G-series. For example, the black pleated arches on the bumpers, the bumpers on the American version and the matt black window frames and door handles.
At the time, I had the great honor of meeting Lapine in Holland, where he was having a yacht built according to his concept at the well-known boatyard in Makkum.
All the other accessories are still present, such as the complete tools, the spare wheel and the corresponding electric pump as well as the operating instructions for the Porsche SC.
During the necessary restorations, care was always taken to ensure that the car's appearance corresponded to its original condition, e.g. some seat upholstery repairs.
The car is currently registered in Spain, but can be registered in any country of the European Union without major costs.
