The vehicle in detail

The car has been owned by the current seller for almost ten years. He purchased the Targa from an artist who had it partially restored over a period of two years. During this work, the car was completely repainted. The engine and transmission are in very good condition—with smooth engine running, responsive throttle response, and precise shifting. The speedometer was converted from miles (49,013) to kilometers in 2011; the corresponding invoice is available. The mileage appears conclusive based on the available documentation. The original service booklet contains entries from 1978–1980 and 2016–2025.

Both the previous owner and the current owner have had numerous technical repairs carried out over the years to continuously optimize the condition of the vehicle. A detailed overview of this can be found below. A valuation report from 2023 gives the vehicle an overall rating of 2+.
