After that, we have a gap of over 20 years, during which the vehicle probably made its way from California/Inglewood to Europe at some point, only to be bought by its new owner from England in 1991 for 5,995 British pounds (around 15,000.00 DM at the time) and then rebuilt from the ground up for a further 35,845 British pounds. That was about 94,000.00 DM at the time and about 6 to 8 times what these cars cost on the market in decent condition. It was still equipped with the revised 2.0-liter T-engine and its presumably already factory-installed 4-speed gearbox, but in new condition.
This is how the Porsche described above came to be sold in Germany in the condition described above, where a valued dealer colleague brought it to the German market around 20 years ago. The condition was described as 1, the expert report from that time confirmed the new condition and is available to us.
This is where the exciting time of this once tame coupé begins.
An extremely passionate car enthusiast bought the still "harmless" 911 T and equipped it with everything he needed for promising participation in historic rally sport: chassis, roll bar, engine power (2.4 liters, 202 hp), interior, etc. The first German owner pursued this hobby until 2015, when he had contested pretty much all events of this kind with it and - thanks to online research - often drove it to the podium! Now luck comes into play.
A perfectionist we know very well and a Porsche fan through and through bought the Porsche and decided that this 911 offered the perfect basis for what he imagined a raw, unfiltered, light and extremely dynamic original 911 to be.
What does a perfectionist usually do? Exactly. No prisoners when it comes to realizing his ideas.
Since 2015, around €85,750.00 has been invested in this project as we see it, drive it and offer it today.
We will limit ourselves to the essential things that make it what it is today and at this point we remember the epic top model of all original 911s: the 911 Carrera 2.7 RS. This is not blasphemy - we claim at this point that the Porsche presented here can do everything better than the aforementioned 2.7RS, without exception. This is especially true if you concentrate on the characteristics that make a Porsche a Porsche. The main difference to the aforementioned Carrera 2.7 RS - the one presented here costs a fraction of what an RS costs today.
The 3-liter engine was rebuilt by Joos Motorsport and perfectly tuned with ample torque thanks to its cc, its perfectly tuned 46 - PMO carburetor, with all the accompanying measures of classic engine tuning such as camshafts, valve train, etc. The 5-speed gearbox has just been completely rebuilt for just over € 13000.00. The chassis, brake system, interior, exhaust system and much more were renewed, modified, improved and adapted to the wishes of our perfectionist for use primarily on public roads.
Almost all of the essential work was carried out on Porsche vehicles by one of the top addresses for such work in the Swabian region and can be documented by invoices.
One essential prerequisite: ALL technical modifications, without exception, had to be absolutely "bulletproof" on the part of the authorities, i.e. approved accordingly by the TÜV and entered in the vehicle papers. From the steering wheel to the special exhaust system, the 3000 cc displacement with a registered 220 hp, various wheel rim pairings, the reinforced brake system, the transfer bar... without exception, everything is TÜV-compliant and therefore legal to drive on public roads. There is a "small" gap in the performance data, which is slightly higher...but more on this in a personal conversation or during a viewing, for which we ask you to make an appointment.
