When the car arrived into our inventory at MOTIKON, we carried out our standard mechanical inspection and rectified every issue identified, ensuring it presents as well mechanically as it does cosmetically. The following work was completed: a fuel-leak investigation revealed the fuel tank was perforated by rust beneath the underseal, so the tank was replaced and successfully leak-tested. Both rear dampers were replaced with matching Koni units, all outer driveshaft/CV boots were renewed, and both heat exchangers were replaced due to rust perforation, with a minor exhaust leak addressed at the same time. The reverse-light switch and a broken heater hose were replaced, the gear-selector linkage was rebuilt with new bushings to remove play, and several small interior items were corrected (seat backrest screws, the right-rear interior trim strip, a loose interior mirror, and the handbrake boot). A carburettor fuel leak was resolved by replacing gaskets on both carburettors, the cracked oil filler hose and clamps were replaced, the engine-bay sound-deadening mat was renewed, and both front boot gas struts were replaced.
Now available for sale, the car comes fresh from major maintenance. It still retains its original 1971 maintenance book and presents in beautiful condition.
