"Blood Orange" is the name of the paint color which, according to the current owner, is original and came as a complete paint job on this 911 during the course of the restoration in 2012. In addition to the complete paintwork, various parts such as the battery box and the cross plates at the front were also replaced. In 2011, the front end was damaged by a trailer hitch from another vehicle – according to the seller, this was repaired in 2012. The seller describes the general optical condition of this Targa as good according to its age: Only on the front left and right door and on the left fender are rust blisters beginning to develop and, according to the seller, the paint is partially chipping off the rear panel. Optical deviations from the original condition cannot be seen on the exterior and all chrome trim elements are still in full splendour. In addition, the Targa roof is in good condition.
Exterior rims/brakes/chassis:
Classically beautiful Fuchs rims together with tires from the Continental brand adorn the external condition of this Porsche 911 T. The seller attributes a condition of 30-50% to the tires and estimates the condition of the brakes at 70-90% . In terms of chassis technology, he is not aware of any deficits apart from a defective steering boot on the left.
Interior:
Black partial leather seats can be found in the interior of this Porsche 911, which was first registered in 1972: Originally, the center panels of the seats were made of corduroy – they were covered with velor in 2015 and the seats were generally given a new filling. The four-spoke steering wheel was also covered with new leather in 2015. Mileage:
The speedometer in the Porsche instrument cluster has five digits – after consultation with the seller, he states that the total mileage should actually be 150,960 kilometers and that this mileage is partially traceable. According to the current owner, all instruments, displays and controls work perfectly.
Engine:
The seller's notes show that in 1984 the 2.4 liter six-cylinder boxer engine was replaced by an engine of the same type from the same year of manufacture. Finally, in 2015, the 130 hp boxer engine was overhauled: the engine was dismantled and the main shaft bearings and piston rings were renewed, among other things, and the connecting rods were expanded. The carburetor was also given an overhaul and the entire exhaust system was redesigned in stainless steel with a sports exhaust. The stainless steel heat exchanger and oil cooler were also replaced. The gearbox is still the original "915" 4-speed gearbox (with first gear on the left in front) in this 911 T. In 2015 the gearbox was also overhauled. According to the seller, a last service was carried out in 2020.
