The car left the factory finished in Tangerine, and it was repainted red by Yeaman Auto Body of Palo Alto, California in 2010 following rust repair on the front suspension pan. Bumper and side trim was removed or shaved, and 911 T/R rally-inspired side decals were added. Features include bright and black anodized trim, H4 headlights with yellow lenses, a driver-side mirror, black-coated rear steel bumperettes, and a custom 911R-inspired engine grille fabricated by TRE Motorsports.
Group 4 Campy 16″ wheels are finished in bronze and mounted with Toyo tires measuring 205/55 up front and 225/45 out back. Braking is from four-wheel discs featuring front 911 A-type calipers and a 19mm master cylinder. Suspension modifications are noted to include Bilstein shocks and struts, Tarett Engineering front and rear sway bars, an Elephant Racing triangulated strut bar and bushings, stainless-steel brake lines, and 930-spec tie rods. The suspension was overhauled, Bilstein shocks installed, and the axles rebuilt in 2020
Fixed-back bucket seats trimmed in black with houndstooth cloth inserts and red three-point seatbelts were installed under current ownership, while work under prior ownership involved installing RS-style door panels, a TRE Motorsports RSR-style roll bar, lightweight carpeting, a Rennline aluminum shift-linkage cover and throttle-pedal extension, a black headliner, a WEVO shifter with a 917-style knob, and a fire extinguisher. In addition, the dash was re-covered, the pedal box was rebuilt, and the rear seats, radio, and speakers were removed.
A microsuede-wrapped MOMO steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation that was overhauled in 2010 and includes a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 67k miles, approximately 4k of which have been added under current ownership. True mileage is unknown.
The flat-six was increased in displacement to 2.7-liters under prior ownership and was rebuilt in 2019, at which time custom camshafts were installed and the dual Weber carburetors overhauled. Carrera chain tensioners and a dry-sump lubrication system are also utilized. Cylinder compression readings are viewable in the gallery.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed 915 manual transmission, which was also rebuilt in 2019. A Sycip triple-outlet rally-style muffler and SSI heat exchangers are fitted.
This modified 911T is now offered with service records since 2010, engine-build photos, and a California title.
