1979 Porsche 930 Turbo 3.3
With its wide wheel arches, monumental rear spoiler, and formidable horsepower, the Porsche 911 Turbo was as audacious as could be imagined when it debuted in 1974. Four years later, that audacity reached a new peak as the model surpassed 300 hp with its new 3.3-litre engine.
This particular car was delivered to a presumably delighted French client in 1979, making it an early 3.3-litre Turbo. That the owner possessed both refined taste and courage is evident in the sumptuous deep brown metallic paint and the matching, rich dark-brown leather seats.
The original service booklet remains in the glovebox, bearing witness to how untouched this supercar remains nearly 50 years after it first saw the light of day. It will be difficult to find a more beautiful, more unspoiled Porsche 911 Turbo than this tasteful time capsule of an automobile.
The odometer reads 157,000 km, and it appears entirely plausible.
