1988 Porsche 930 Turbo Cabriolet
The first-ever Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet, introduced in 1986, brought together open-top driving and the legendary Turbo (930) performance for the very first time. Powered by a 3.3-liter turbocharged flat-six engine, it delivered supercar performance with everyday usability. Distinctive wide rear fenders, a signature “whale tail” spoiler, and classic Fuchs alloy wheels made it an instant icon. With only 1,642 examples produced, this model remains one of the most sought-after air-cooled 911s ever built.
This particular car was sold new in New Jersey, where it remained until 2003 before being sold to California. In 2014, it was imported to Belgium and professionally converted to EU specifications, including correct lighting and bumpers. During the conversion, it was repainted in its original color—Black (Code 700). The refinished Fuchs wheels are fitted with new Pirelli tires, and the soft top operates flawlessly with only minimal signs of wear. The top cover and wind deflector are both in excellent condition.
