These final 930 Turbos were created during a period of upheaval, immediately prior to the introduction of the 964, and immediately sold like hotcakes. They are not only automotive cultural assets, but also a symbol of the unadulterated character of the classic Turbo generation: uncompromising performance, timeless design, and a place in the hearts of enthusiasts.
Rumor has it that 724 units of the 930 Turbo Cabriolet with G50 transmission were built, of which only a small fraction were destined for Germany. This number underscores the exclusivity of this vehicle.
The vehicle we are offering is a rare German delivery. The Turbo was delivered to its first owner on March 30, 1989, by the Porsche dealership Walter Huber in Tuttlingen. The first owner kept the vehicle until he sold it to the second owner in Hanover in 1992. The second owner cherished and cared for the Porsche for 16 years until he sold it on in Heidekreis. There, the Turbo changed hands once again. We are now offering it for sale on behalf of the current owner.
The vehicle comes with a very comprehensive vehicle file containing all invoices and receipts since the vehicle was delivered! Such extensive documentation is rare to find. Of course, the complete owner's manual is also available. The original service booklet contains 16 service stamps, almost all of which are from Porsche.
