Our offered Porsche 912 is a rare example from the final production year 1968, during which only 5,598 cars were built in the short-wheelbase F-series. This car was originally ordered and delivered by Porsche Car Pacific in California. It left the factory in the now highly desirable and rare exterior colour Crystal Blue (code 52254B) and was further optioned with factory-installed loudspeakers, antenna, chrome ventilated wheels, hubcaps with crest, rubber bumper guards front and rear, and a Caracolor windscreen.
The 912 spent its last years in the United States in New Mexico, as confirmed by the US service history and title. In 2015, the car was sold by a Dutch dealer from the province of Groningen to its current owner in northern Germany. At the time of sale, the mileage was 77,000 km. A Porsche Classic Certificate was also issued by Porsche Centrum Groningen and handed over to the buyer. Since then, the car has been part of a private collection and has covered just under 4,000 km in nearly 10 years, carefully maintained to preserve its excellent condition.
