In 2015, the 912 passed to its fourth owner, who noted its excellent mechanical condition with even compression results across all cylinders. In 2020, ownership transferred to the fifth owner, who continued its careful upkeep. During this period, the tachometer was rebuilt, the front seats were upholstered, and a set of 5.5” x 15” chrome wheels were installed. On July 20, 2020, with 49,718 miles, AASE Motors in Fullerton, California, performed a comprehensive transmission rebuild totaling $6,763.31. The work included replacing synchros, gears, bushings, gaskets, ring and pinion, pinion bearings, and main shaft bearings. Most recently, Suspension Specialties in Anaheim, California, carried out a front and rear alignment and corner balance, reinstalled rear spring plates and bushings, installed rear trailing arms and bushings, adjusted the front sway bar, and fitted Elephant Racing rear spring plate bushings.

The paintwork is in beautiful overall condition with excellent gaps and panel fit. Exterior features include chrome bumperettes with rubber guards and chrome hub caps with metal Porsche crests. The interior is in excellent condition, with a VDM leather-wrapped steering wheel with butterfly horn ring, VDO instrumentation, door pockets, headrests, German carpets, CoCo mats, headliner, radio delete plate, and wood dash inserts. The undercarriage is solid and rust-free. The 912 rides on chrome-steel wheels fitted with Continental ExtremeContact 185/65 R15 tires.

Mechanically powered a 1.6-liter flat-four engine producing 95 horsepower, paired with a manual 5-speed transmission (Type 902/02) and four-wheel disc brakes.
