The vehicle in detail

In model year 1972, the end of the 914/6 project had long since been decided. For this reason, no new quantities of certain Porsche parts were produced, but they were replaced by standard parts from the 914/4. The most striking feature is probably the ignition lock, which was now no longer on the left-hand side, but on the right-hand side, as on the 4 Series. Less conspicuous were the four-wire harness and the air-pressure windshield washer system.
In total, only 250 of the 72 model were built
