1980 Porsche 924 SCCA D-Production
One of just 16 factory Porsche Type 933 created for SCCA D-Production racing. – Weissach-engineered specifically for U.S. dealership teams. – Lightened and strengthened body with fiberglass fender flares and BBS multi-piece race wheels. – Fully stripped interior with a welded-in roll cage and 935 lollipop race seat, Autoflug harnesses. – 2.0-liter race-spec engine with Bosch/Kugelfischer fuel injection, 11.5:1 compression. – Likely the most original Type 933 in existence with its build completed by Freisinger Motorsport of Karlsruhe, Germany. – Finished in the white and red presentation livery as seen on the cover of the December 1979 issue of Christophorus. – An incredible, “fresh from the box” unraced piece of Porsche competition history
