Porsche 944 Coupé

The vehicle in detail

• First registered in 1987, this Series 1 944 has been with its current keeper since 2012 with just two former registered keepers
• Indicating just over 53,000 miles at the time of cataloguing, it was used sparingly during current ownership before being taken off the road and placed into dry storage in 2023. Recently emerged and is offered with a fresh MOT (no advisories)
• Powered by Porsche’s naturally aspirated 2.5-litre inline-four, driving the rear wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox
• Finished in Black (Schwarz) over a black vinyl-trimmed interior with contrasting beige pinstripe cloth seat inserts
• Factory specification includes the distinctive pop-up headlights with washers, electrically adjustable door mirrors, electric windows, rear screen wiper, heated rear screen, digital clock and sunroof
• Accompanied by its original handbooks, a file of invoices and previous MOT Certificates showing regular maintenance dating back to the 90s along with the tool kit and sunroof cover
• With its low indicated mileage, limited ownership, 14 years with its current keeper and desirable five-speed manual gearbox, this is an appealing example of Porsche’s increasingly appreciated transaxle-era sports car
