In addition to the standard equipment, the vehicle has a few reversible sporty modifications, including a cup tube and lowering springs with spacers, which enable a sportier chassis setup and a harmonious vehicle height without distorting the character of the vehicle.

The Porsche Speedster was delivered via the Porsche Center Flocke in Solingen to its first owner, who used the vehicle for a period of three years. The Speedster then became the property of an authorized Opel dealer in Bonn, who kept the vehicle for 25 years and maintained and cared for it with great care during this time. Since 2021, the Speedster has been owned by its current owner, who has only driven the vehicle on selected occasions. Accordingly, the car is now a substantial, technically well-maintained Porsche 964 Speedster with an unusual color combination, a traceable history, and long-term ownership.
