This extraordinary example was originally produced for the North American market and remained there for 18 years. In 2012, a German vehicle importer discovered the fascinating roadster and brought it back to its home country. Two years later, the rare Speedster became the property of a Hamburg architect before it was finally acquired by a passionate car collector. Now this exclusive classic is looking for a new lover. With a total mileage of around 85,000 km, the vehicle presents itself in a remarkably beautiful and largely original condition. The elegant combination of deep black paintwork and black leather interior gives this Speedster a timeless look. The rare "RS" package was installed as a special feature, which includes the characteristic door panels with loops and the coveted bucket seats. The vehicle is currently equipped with Speedline-look rims, but the original 17″ Cup wheel set is also included in the scope of sale. In addition, an original Porsche Classic navigation system, a sports steering wheel and a Cup loop (exhaust system) are installed. Technically, the 964 Speedster is in excellent condition. Thanks to a new Bilstein suspension and extensive renewals to the axles, the vehicle impresses with precise road holding and even better handling than on the day of its first registration. The engine was also removed and professionally sealed as part of a service in 2024. The chain housing, chain case cover and valve covers were given new seals. In addition, the entire ignition system was replaced as a precautionary measure to eliminate any signs of wear.
