Model history
- The Porsche 968, introduced in 1992, built on the success of the 944. With its 3.0 liter engine, which produced 240 hp, it offered the most powerful four-cylinder engine built in series at the time. As the successor to the 944, the 968 refined the transaxle concept. It was available as both a coupe and a convertible. The 968 marked an era of performance and elegance, using its predecessor as a basis and continuing the legacy of Porsche tradition.
