For sale is an exceptionally beautiful Porsche 968 Cabriolet in the rare and elegant color Cobalt Blue Metallic. The vehicle was built in 1993 and first registered in 1994. It is a German-spec model with a manual transmission and an existing H-license plate.
The first owner was Porsche Munich. The Cabriolet then remained in the same ownership for more than two decades. After a brief period of interim ownership, I acquired the vehicle. It is now in its fourth ownership.
Of particular note is its exceptionally comprehensive history. Numerous documents and records are available, dating back to the original purchase contract with Porsche Munich. During the inspection for the H-license plate, the vehicle’s complete originality was confirmed—including the original radio.
The elegant color combination of cobalt blue metallic and dark blue leather upholstery gives the 968 Cabriolet a particularly harmonious appearance. Both the leather and the soft top have already been replaced. The rear window is in excellent condition—crystal clear, without scratches or cloudiness.
The vehicle is equipped with the coveted original 16-inch Cup rims and features air conditioning. With 185,000 km on the odometer, the Cabriolet is in an honest and well-maintained technical condition. The engine is dry; the vehicle does not drip or leak. Of course, an inspection on the lift is also possible.
Unfortunately, the vehicle was damaged at the classic car show in Neumünster at the booth of a service vehicle belonging to an Italian brand. The left fender was dented and the bumper was slightly displaced. The vehicle is therefore being offered intentionally in its unrepaired condition so that the new owner can have the repairs carried out according to their own preferences.
