It is often wise to combine these terms when making a decision. Emotion because in fact all the cars we offer are bought with “the heart”. Simply, because they trigger something in you that makes you happy. To a certain extent, money is not an issue because you get pleasure from them, and pleasure is priceless. But the financial aspect often forces us to consider carefully whether the purchase is wise. Of course, there is something to be said for that, because you can only spend your hard-earned money once, right? Then you come to the point where you have to decide which car is best for you and on the other hand does not empty your wallet. To be honest, you quickly end up with a Porsche. The Boxster scores very highly when it comes to the price/quality/pleasure ratio. We have been selling this type for years and they are without exception to the great satisfaction of the owners. Some are satisfied with a not too childish 2.7 liter and others go for one of the top models. For those in the latter category, something beautiful may be in store, because look what we were recently able to acquire from a regular customer of ours: a unique and beautiful Porsche Boxster 3.4 GTS in the amazing color Karmin Rot and a black leather / Alcantara interior.
The car was originally delivered on December 11, 2015 (thus model year 2016) by Porsche Leipzig, and registered in the Netherlands on August 4, 2017. Here the car was kept purely as a hobby car “on the side,” hence the still low mileage of only 52,812 km. It goes without saying that the car has been serviced according to the manufacturer’s schedule and all invoices, booklets, certificates and counter reports are present. Again, the low mileage has to do with the fact that the exterior looked almost immaculate. Almost, because to be honest there were a few stone chips on the front. After having looked at it for a few days, it still bothered us, because we strive for perfection. The men from our partner Autorestauratie Raalte know that, and so they brought the paintwork back to new condition by spraying the front bumper and boot lid. And a premium treatment from the super polishers at Autocare from Deventer made sure that there is virtually no difference to be seen between a new Boxster and this GTS.
Because a top model often already has a lot of options, but the list could apparently be even longer, the first owner ticked just about everything Porsche could provide. Take a look at the list in our options & accessories column. A small sample of these: PDK automatic 7-speed transmission with paddle shifts, the PASM suspension package, sports seats in leather / Alcantara, Sport Chrono package, sports exhaust system and black 20″ Carrera S rims. A must for the enthusiast it seems to us. And then we haven’t even mentioned the power source: a 3.4 liter 6-cylinder boxer engine that produces no less than 330 hp in the GTS, can hit 100 km/h in 5 seconds, and those who floor the gas pedal can see the speedometer go up to over 280 km/h. But the special thing about this Boxster is that you can just as easily tour with it and make wonderful use of the torque and the sublime PDK gearbox. And a weekend away or longer vacation trip? There is plenty of luggage space in the front and rear. And don’t think that such a fast car will also be a thirsty one, because with an average consumption of 8.2 liters / 100 that can really be called very neat. Actually, nothing stands in the way of you buying an all-rounder like this Porsche Boxster GTS, right? Or maybe you don’t know enough about it? Or you don’t know us?
