Driving with the top down creates a purist driving experience. Cornering with the top down becomes an intense interplay between vehicle and driver that stays with you.

The Boxster’s mid-engine layout is incredibly balanced, with a weight distribution of nearly 50:50, paired with an extremely low center of gravity and minimal rear overhang. In the 981 GTS, this balance is further enhanced by Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV).

Targeted braking on the inside rear wheel creates an additional yaw moment that aids steering-in and reduces the steering effort required. The mechanical limited-slip differential increases power transmission to the outside rear wheel and improves traction during acceleration out of the corner. At the same time, it reduces the tendency for the unloaded inside wheel to spin.

The result? Incredibly balanced handling with high precision during corner entry and stable traction on corner exit, without losing the agility typical of mid-engine vehicles.
