The technology.

The switch from the old 3.4 and 3.8 litre atmospheric engines to the new Bi-Turbo 3.0 initially set off alarm bells for many 911 drivers. Thankfully that was short-lived, because get behind the wheel of this generation of 911 and you'll find that the addition of a smaller turbo engine brings many benefits. The new turbo engines have more power, more torque and are more economical too. As impressive to drive as ever, with enormous everyday comfort and superior balance in the corners. It's still a boxer engine with that characteristic sound, accompanied by a slight whistle from the turbos, which can be heard clearly through the switchable sports exhaust.

Performance.

Make no mistake, a standard Carrera is a serious sports car. The Carrera model has 370 hp and 450 nm of torque from 1,700 rpm and does 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds. To put it in perspective, that's almost the same sprint time as a 4-wheel drive Porsche 996 Turbo. Top speed is 293 km/h.

Origin and maintenance .

The car was supplied by Porsche Stuttgart and put on NL registration as a 2 year old used car in 2020. All required maintenance was carried out in NL by Porsche Twente at the mileages stated below. The work carried out is of course noted in the complete service booklet. The last lap was in June 2024 at 39,681 km. Since then, 500 km have been driven with the car.

Paint measurement, tires and brakes.

We carry out a paint measurement as standard during our purchase inspection. This Carrera is still completely in its first paint job, screens, doors, trunk lid, etc. The age and profile of the Pirelli P Zero tires are good. Tread depth of the rear tires 5.5 mm (2020) and the front tires are new (2024). Brake discs and brake pads are good all around.

Price.
