Introduced to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 911 at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt, the production run was limited to just 1,963 cars, a number that represents the year of the 911 world premiere. Being based on the standard type 991.1 Carrera S, the 50th features the wide body, which is typically reserved for the Carrera 4 and GTS models.
