Something that makes this car even more special is its colour. Although described as Brewster Green, this is not technically correct and should someone re-paint a panel, it would be an unfortunate mismatch. A few years post-delivery, the owners of the Club Coupe were fortunate enough to spec a new 911 GTS and opted for Brewster Green to ‘match’ their Club Coupe at home. Upon delivery of the new car, it was clear that Brewster was actually a different shade and after some research and calls back and forth with Porsche GB, it was confirmed that the Club Coupe was actually painted in Porsche ‘Family Green’, with the colour coming from Wolfgang Porsche’s personal 993 Turbo S and a shade not offered, nor disclosed, anywhere else. How cool is that?!

As you would imagine, demand was exceptionally high for this extremely limited 911 and so allocations were quite literally down to ‘luck of draw’. You could enter the allocation lottery on the basis you were a Porsche Club member and from that pool, the lucky winners were chosen at random. In this car’s case, the lucky ticket belonged to a Mr and Mrs Windsor (their names remain etched on the brushed aluminium trim of the interior), who took delivery of the Club Coupe on the 1st of January 2013.
