2014 PORSCHE 911 GT3
The 2014 Porsche 911 GT3 (991.1) marked a bold step forward for Porsche’s most focused road going 911. Powered by a 3.8-litre naturally aspirated flat-six, producing 475 bhp and paired with a lightning fast 7-speed PDK transmission, it delivers razor-sharp throttle response and relentless performance all the way to its 9,000-rpm redline, achieving a 0-60 mph in just 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 196 mph.
This generation introduced some of the most significant advances in the GT3 story. The headline addition was rear-wheel steering, which sharpens the car’s reactions at lower speeds and adds a real sense of stability and calm when you’re pressing on. It makes the 991.1 feel smaller around you, more agile on turn-in and more planted through fast corners, giving the driver an extra layer of confidence to lean on the chassis properly. The result is a GT3 that feels immediate, precise and exceptionally composed, a true benchmark driver’s car that remains every bit as special today.
