Historical significance - the last air-cooled works CUP
The 993 CUP series is a milestone: it is the last air-cooled CUP model that Porsche used for the one-make cup. Based on the legendary 993 Carrera 2, these vehicles were uncompromisingly designed ex works for use on the racetrack: reduced, reinforced, sharpened. No ABS, no ESP, no comfort - just technology that works.
This example was delivered directly to a French Porsche Cup driver in 1996 and actively participated in the FFSA racing series. The original car passport fully documents the history and guarantees authenticity - an absolute rarity among today's "alleged" CUP models.
Technical highlights
- 3.8-liter naturally aspirated engine with approx. 315 hp - free-revving, raw and unfiltered
- Original CUP chassis
- Seamlessly welded safety cage
- Motorsport brake system with aluminum calipers
- Uniball joints on front and rear axle
- Magnesium CUP rims with central locking
- Original FFSA car passport & matching numbers (chassis, engine, transmission)
Condition
This example has been technically overhauled - but the original patina has been deliberately retained. Not a museum object, but a living racing machine. Ready for trackdays, historic CUP races or as a highlight collector in any Porsche collection.
