This vehicle has a special appearance in terms of mileage, history and condition: since delivery, the vehicle has been in the hands of only two passionate Porsche enthusiasts, who have handled the car perfectly. The condition of the body and paintwork, as well as the interior, underbody and technology, is completely original and almost without any noticeable wear and tear. This specimen was delivered and registered on January 20th, 1997, initially to the Porsche Center in Bamberg. The car then remained in the family until 2004, when it changed to its last owner, who was allowed to call the car his own for 17 years. Also due to the professional maintenance carried out exclusively by Porsche, it deserves the title “exceptional vehicle”. The car, with a current mileage of almost 89,500 kilometers, is in a largely similar condition to that of the year in which it was built and, with the exception of the boot lid, has the same values as the original paintwork.
This Porsche 993 Carrera S was also equipped with many extras that were available for money at the time: In addition to the extensive standard equipment for this model, it also received, among other things, Litronic headlights for better visibility, air conditioning for the hot days, an on-board computer, as well as a sound package for those for whom the sound from the rear was not enough. In the interior, the athlete is unabashedly committed to luxury: beige ruffled leather on fully electric comfort seats with heated seats for the driver and front passenger.
The 993 Carrera S was delivered as standard on 17 “rims. These are also available. The currently installed original 18 "hollow spoke rims, which were reserved for the 993 Turbo, go very well with the vehicle and can also be purchased.
For me, the 911/993 Carrera S is not only one of the most interesting and rarest appearances from the 993 series, but certainly also one of the most desirable models in air-cooled 911 history. The 993 Carrera S was built in significantly fewer numbers than the 993 Carrera 4S, is more puristic than the 993 Carrera 4S and, compared to the 993 Turbo and 993 RS, is one of the – still – affordable and above all fully everyday models.
This specimen has the full package: German first delivery, complete history, relatively low mileage and is therefore a particularly valuable vehicle, not least due to the many optional extras and the beguiling color combination. This is also made clear by the regular maintenance only carried out at Porsche and promises unrestricted driving pleasure.

Vehicle condition and assessment (according to our knowledge and statements of the last vehicle owner and an apparent assessment):
Body.
The body is in the condition of the car for the year. The closing behavior and the accuracy of fit of the doors and hoods is impeccable. All gap dimensions of doors, hoods and all add-on parts such as sill panels, bumper panels and grille correspond to the delivery condition. The body is absolutely free of damage and corrosion.
After an intensive assessment, the vehicle is accident-free to the best of our knowledge.
Exterior paintwork
Based on the paint layer thickness measurement carried out and the resulting values, this vehicle is painted at the factory level, only the trunk cover was repainted once. The condition of the paintwork is similar to that of a year-old car. There are slight traces of stone chips on the front of the vehicle. The paintwork on the lower rear ends of the wheel arch openings is damaged by stone chips / dirt from the tires. Such signs of use arise due to the design when the vehicle is used as intended.

All add-on parts of the vehicle are complete. They are in pristine condition all around.
glazing
The glazing of the vehicle is almost free of stone chips and scratches. All seals on the vehicle are original, as good as new and perfectly fitted.

Seats and panels
The entire seating system, the side panels and the center console are in mint condition. There is no damage.
instruments
The vehicle has the standard instruments, all of which are in a technically and optically perfect condition. All instruments are working properly at this point in time. There is no damage to the entire interior of the vehicle.
Motor units
Due to the completely traceable history, we assume that the engine and transmission are the original units of the vehicle. Revisions have not been necessary up to now, but maintenance measures have been carried out regularly so that the engine works perfectly in all temperature, speed and load ranges. There are no suspicious noises or smoke development. The entire engine compartment, including the engine and its attachments, are in very good condition. The cold start behavior and the engine running over the entire temperature range up to the constant operating temperature are flawless.
Additional units
All additional units such as the ignition system, starter, alternator etc. are technically in perfect condition at this point in time.
drive
The vehicle's transmission can be shifted perfectly in all load conditions, there are no suspicious noises. The transmission works perfectly.
steering
The function and precision of the steering are the same as in the delivery condition.
Chassis and braking system
The brake discs and brake pads are in very good condition. All prescribed maintenance work was carried out regularly on the brake system and on the chassis.
wheel and tires
The wear is uniform across the entire width of the tire, which is an unmistakable indication that the chassis is correctly adjusted and is working accordingly. The tires and rims are in very good condition and show no signs of damage.
Electrics and lighting
The entire electrical system is almost in the delivery condition. No changes have been made here, but all care and maintenance measures have been carried out so that the entire electrical system is working properly in all areas at this point in time.
