Even moreso than the standard 993-generation 911 Carrera, the release of the 993 Turbo propelled the 911 to new technological and performance heights. Developed using lessons learned from the 959 supercar and, of course, Porsche’s many racing programs, the new-for-1995 911 Turbo was the first 911 Turbo featuring twin turbochargers and standard all wheel drive.
