Porsche 993 Turbo
Highlights
- Last air-cooled 911 Turbo!
- Black/Black
- Low mileage!
The 1996 Porsche 911 Turbo (993) is, for many enthusiasts, one of the most iconic and special models in Porsche history. It represents the culmination of an era: it was the last 911 with an air-cooled engine before the brand transitioned to water-cooled engines with the 996.
Launched at a time when automotive technology was making major leaps forward, the 993 Turbo brilliantly combined tradition with innovation. Under the rear lid lies a 3.6-liter flat-six engine equipped with twin turbos — a first for the 911 Turbo, which had previously used only a single turbo. This system allowed for a smoother and more efficient power delivery, producing around 408 horsepower, an impressive figure for its time. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h took approximately 4.5 seconds, placing it on par with far more exotic supercars of the 1990s.
