The 993 Turbo represents the pinnacle of air-cooled 911 development. Porsche took everything they’d learned from decades of turbocharging and created the ultimate daily-usable supercar. Twin KKK turbochargers with sequential boost delivery eliminated lag while maintaining incredible power. Four-wheel drive provided traction that the 964 Turbo could never match. The massive widebody stance with those iconic hollow-spoke wheels became the ‘definitive’ 911 silhouette. This was the last air-cooled Turbo, and Porsche made sure it went out at the absolute top of its game.
The standard 993 Turbo produced 408 hp, but this car is equipped with the sought-after X50 power kit. Also known as the WLS1 package. Porsche fitted a more aggressive ECU map and improved cooling to boost performance and reliability. The result: 430hp and 540Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque, good for a sprint from 0 to 100 in just 4.0 seconds and a top speed close to 300 km/h (186 mph) !
This particular 993 Turbo was delivered new in Sweden in the late-1990s and has lived a meticulously preserved life ever since.
