The Porsche 996 was Porsche's first 911 with a water-cooled six-cylinder boxer engine. It is also still the only 911 without classic round headlights.
The front of the 4s was given the headlights of the 996 Turbo with the typical "fried egg lights", its unique selling point.

If you want the wide turbo dress, there is no way around the beguilingly beautiful 996 Carrera 4S. Only the Porsche 996 Carrera 4S was given the wide rear end previously reserved for the Turbo
